Feast of Tabernacles 2022

We are so excited about this year's Feast of Tabernacles, 2022.

We're thrilled that this year we have visitors from interstate registered for the Festival, to celebrate with us the Kingdom of God. Who knows, perhaps we'll have some international visitors too??

We have six worship services planned for the Feast and multiple activities throughout, along with planned rest and relaxation for those staying in this beautiful part of God's creation. A draft schedule is up on the Feast site at www.feastwa.org

If you have not already done so, and are planning to come, now is not too early to register your interest. As with last year, there is no registration fee and you are welcome to come to one or all of the festival events and services. Registration helps us in our planning for each and every service and activity, and ensures that we can communicate with you at all times. Plus, we get to share the excitement as we lead up to the Festival. On the days when you attend, registration details also help us to maintain safety for everyone.

Our venue is the same fantastic venue, who have done such a tremendous job for us the past two years: The Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club.

Over the next couple of months, we'll begin the exciting process of planning our activities. We will advise those, and the Feast Theme for the year, as details come to hand.

What can you do to help with the Feast?

  1. Prayer: Let's start with the first and most important: Please pray for the Feast - that it be inspired by the Holy Spirit, that our preaching is faithful to the Word of God and serves Him, that our worship is an enthusiastic and delightful devotion to God, and that we will reflect the spirit of Jesus Christ in harmony, peace, love and service to others during the Festival. Please also pray for those planning the activities, that they will find good opportunities, that the way will be paved for the activities that we need, and that conditions will be right on the day. Lastly, pray that many will be motivated and able to come. Let God bring as many as He will call!!

  2. Music: We are always looking to improve our services and move towards live worship music as much as possible in any given year. Last year, we were blessed with more live music during congregational worship singing and for meditation and prayerful worship (special music). Our thanks again to Rebecca and the Klassek family, Adeline, Mikhayla & Khomarni. This year, we will be inviting specific people to add live worship music where possible, without also overwhelming any individuals or families. It's important to us that everyone get to enjoy their time during the Feast. But we would also love any offers of special music - appropriate instrumental or worshipful songs - to be offered during the Festival. If you would like to offer, please email and we'll be in touch!

  3. Transport: If you are travelling from Perth (or elsewhere) on a day basis during the Feast and have space to provide transport to others, let us know. Likewise, if you would like to come but have no transport, please let us know and we may be able to match you with someone able to give you "a lift".

  4. Ask: Many ask if there is any way they can help with logistics, set-up, etc. during the Feast. Due to the excellent arrangements with the Club during the Feast, their crew is fantastic at providing the majority of the set-up for us. But it never hurts to ask!! We never know where there may be a need.

  5. Invite others: Bring others to the Feast - whether to part or to the whole. Last year was such a tremendous example where we had many different guests throughout the Feast, including those who came and lent their talents to sing in praise of God and bless everyone during the Festival, those who came to share in activities and everyone else who visited throughout. We want MORE :)

  6. Finances: We have been asked repeatedly how we finance the Feast. The Feast is financed through the generous private donations of families and individuals wishing to support the Festival. Yes, it costs time and money, which we are delighted to give as part of our offering to God and to you who attend. We are an independently run Festival, and do not collect on behalf of any church or organisation. Privately held business insurance covers our liabilities insurance for the venue. Any monies donated by others are on the understanding that they are private unaccounted donations, given to the expenses of the Festival and sharing with others through the activities.

A Note On the Character of the Festival

We were so inspired by and grateful for the reflection of Christ in the Festival last year: The love and joy shared by those attending, the spirit of welcoming each other displayed by all, the services and activities all reflected Christian character and rejoicing before our Lord. It was a truly wonderful occasion. We look forward with great anticipation to a wonderful Festival again this year, because it is the merest foretaste of what God's Kingdom will be like when fully realised on earth. His is the power and the glory and it will be so forever and ever.
